bd’s partners with American Cancer Society to host multi-location fundraising event for Relay For Life.

Ten bd’s Mongolian Grill locations in Michigan invited guests to help raise funds for the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life on Wednesday, April 22.

From 5-10 p.m. that evening, guests could donate 20 percent of their checks to help finish the fight against cancer. In addition, bd’s Mongolian Grill donated 50 cents from every slice of cheesecake sold during the event to Relay For Life. Lastly, guests expressed their support for Relay For Life by purchasing a donation slip for $1, of which the proceeds will go to the organization.

Relay For Life is a community event where teams and individuals camp out at a school, park, or fairground and take turns walking or running around a track or path. Each team has at least one participant on the track at all times and participates in fundraising that supports the American Cancer Society’s mission to save lives and finish the fight against cancer. Four million people participated in more than 6,000 events worldwide in 2014.

bd’s Mongolian Grill has 10 locations in Michigan in the following cities: Ann Arbor, Auburn Hills, Canton, Dearborn, Novi, Royal Oak, Roseville, Sterling Heights, Okemos and Grand Rapids.

The ten participating locations raised a total of $ 3,890 dollars for the cause.
