It started with one big grill

BD’s Mongolian Grill has been the original create-your-own stir-fry restaurant since 1992. The idea was simple and a little bit theatrical: hand you a bowl, open up a fresh market bar of vegetables, proteins, sauces, and spices, and let you build exactly the meal you’re craving — then cook it in front of you on a sizzling, round grill.

That interactive, made-your-way experience is still the heart of BD’s. No two bowls have to be alike, and half the fun is watching the chefs work the grill.

Chef-driven, and always evolving

In 2017, BD’s joined Dallas-based Mongolian Concepts alongside sister brands, and in 2021 the parent company brought on Gregg Majewski, former CEO of Jimmy John’s, as CEO. Since then, BD’s has leaned into quality — fresher ingredients, new sauces and flavors, and a lineup of exclusive, Chef-crafted Signature Stir-Fry bowls for guests who’d rather let the kitchen do the building.

Today BD’s is part of the Craveworthy Brands family, serving a full menu of bowls, ramen, starters, desserts, and craft cocktails from a full bar.
